Welcome to Wormpost Vermont: Worm Composting & Vermiculture
Who We Are ... Wormpost Vermont (formerly Wormpost Northeast)
is a worm farm located in Morristown, the heart of Lamoille
County, Vermont. We are located about 45 miles (or 1 hr)
east of Burlington and 8-1/2 miles (15 minutes) north of
Stowe. Here our staff of redworms, convert organics such
as kitchen, paper and pet wastes into worm manure ("castings").
This process is known as vermicomposting.
Owner Melissa Jordan has been vermicomposting since 2001,
when she discovered that keeping an indoor worm bin was a
lot more convenient than maintaining her outdoor compost
pile during an icy New England winter.
Our product line includes worms, worm bins, and wormless
waste digesters for the worm phobic. Wormpost Vermont's goal
is to make recycling organic residuals easy and affordable
for the small-scale user. Check out the worm
castings available
in our catalog,
or learn more about small and mid scale sized worm
bins as well as ones you can make yourself.
